London Marathon 2026 in memory of Daisy, for Children’s Hospice South
Emily Marsden
My Story
April 27th 2026 will mark two whole years since we said goodbye to our incredible little Daisy Dot. She died peacefully at Charlton Farm Hospice, part of Children’s Hospice South West.
Daisy's life was not always easy but she never failed to see the good in the world and she taught us all so much. We miss her massively.
On Sunday 26th April I will be running the London Marathon to raise money for Children's Hospice South West. The hospice team at Charlton Farm made sure that Daisy died peacefully, surrounded by people who loved her. They also supported our family (including Daisy's two sisters) through that awful day and the days, months and years that have followed. Children’s Hospices are such vital services for families like ours and children like Daisy, but they are underfunded and expensive to run. I would be so grateful for any donations, no matter how big or small.
Daisy Day April 27th 2026
We will also be marking the 2 year anniversary with 'Daisy Day'. For every donation made, we will send you your very own hand crocheted Daisy badge. Make sure you leave your name when you donate! If you don't know me personally please leave an email address so I can contact you 😊
