My Story

If you had told me 2 years ago that I would be running the London Marathon, I would have laughed in your face.

The past 6 years has been a roller coaster. A roller coaster of navigating grief and big life changes.

My beautiful Mum, Sara Redlaff, who we tragically lost 6 years ago to terminal head and neck cancer, a battle which she fought for 20 years, had a life long dream of running the London Marathon. After applying to countless ballots, she unfortunately never got to achieve this dream after losing her life, aged 49.

In 2026, I will be running the TSC London Marathon to take both myself and Mum over the finish line together. And to prove that no matter how hard times can get, it's just one foot in front of the other, one day at a time.

I am running to raise money for the fantastic Maggie's Centre's who help families living with cancer. They helped our family at the end of Mum's life and I feel so honoured to be on the Maggie's team, representing and promoting their phenomenal work.

So now I ask you, to please donate whatever you can. And I promise I'll put a bloody good effort in. For Maggie's and for Mum x
