My Story

I'm taking part in the TCS London Marathon 2026 on Sunday 26 April and running for Terrence Higgins Trust, the UK's leading HIV charity.

About Terrence Higgins Trust

Vision

A UK with no new HIV cases, where HIV does not hold anyone back.

Mission

By 2030, there will be no new HIV cases in the UK. Everyone living with HIV will be diagnosed, in treatment and care, free from stigma and able to take advantage of life’s opportunities.

Aims

Across the UK, the charity aims to:

  • end new HIV cases by 2030
  • support people living with HIV to live well
  • eradicate HIV-related stigma

To achieve these goals, they will address health inequalities and prioritise support for communities most affected by HIV and with the greatest need. This includes people who are:

  • undiagnosed
  • newly diagnosed
  • new to the UK
  • disengaged or at risk of disengaging from care
  • ageing with HIV
