My Story

Running for Luca, Mateo, and the Heroes at Cosmic

Next year, I’m running the London Marathon – not just for the challenge, but to honor my sons, Luca and Mateo, and to give back to the amazing charity that supported our family when we needed it the most.

Luca and Mateo were born at just 32 weeks, and like many premature babies, their early days were filled with uncertainty. During this difficult time, Camila (my wife) and I were surrounded by incredible doctors, nurses, and the incredible team at Cosmic.

Cosmic is a charity dedicated to supporting premature babies and their families. They don’t just offer medical care – they provide emotional support, practical assistance, and a lifeline for parents who find themselves in one of the scariest situations imaginable.

Now that our boys are healthy, happy, and thriving, I feel a deep sense of gratitude for everything Cosmic gave us. This marathon is my way of giving back. I’m running to say thank you – to Cosmic, to the staff who saved our boys, and to every family they help.

The money raised will go directly to Cosmic’s programs, helping them continue their vital work. Whether it's providing essential equipment, supporting families through the NICU journey, or funding research, your donations will make a real difference in the lives of premature babies and their families.

So, I’m asking for your support. Please donate if you can, and join me in making a lasting impact for other families going through what we did. Luca, Mateo, Camila and I thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
