My Story
On the 26th April 2022, I was diagnosed with stage 4 Hodgkin’s Lymphoma and went through six rounds of chemotherapy — definitely not something I ever expected, and easily one of the hardest times of my life. I was incredibly lucky to be supported by so many amazing charities, but one that really stuck with me was Molly Olly Wishes !
They reached out and offered to grant me a wish — anything I would like ! I asked for help with driving lessons, and they ended up gifting me £500 worth of lessons. It helped massively, not just financially, but mentally too. Having something to focus on, getting out of the house, and driving around made such a difference during treatment.
Now, exactly four years later, not only am I driving, I’m running a marathon ! Something I never thought I'd be able to do. Running 26.2 miles will be tough, but it’s nothing compared to what so many cancer patients face every day.
I’m running to give back and to say thank you. My goal is to raise £500, enough to help grant another young person a wish — just like they did for me.
If you’d like to donate, share, or even just cheer me on, I’d really appreciate it. Every bit helps ! Thank you! ❤️
