My Story

About us

I am running the 2026 London Marathon in aid of The Pattenmakers Company Charitable Foundation, which provides mentoring to underprivileged children in inner London schools, as well as various training and education causes within the Footwear and Facilities Management sectors.

Please consider donating to our charity to support these fantastic causes.

Further detail on some of these causes can be found below.

Thank you!

I Choose Freedom is a charity dedicated to supporting survivors of domestic abuse. They have centres specifically for women and children, as well as centres for anyone fleeing domestic abuse. Their approach is unique in that they consider children to be primary victims of domestic abuse and address the holistic needs of all parties following the situation they have escaped. • St Mary-Le-Bow Young Homelessness Project

St Mary-Le-Bow’s Young Homelessness Project provides accommodation for people between the ages of 19-25 in central London and facilitates their entry into the workplace. • Training and Education Support within Inner London Schools

The Pattenmakers Charitable Foundation offers various forms of support to young people through training and education. Support is provided to underprivileged children in inner London schools and are raising money to provide a mentoring programme who are seriously at risk of exclusion from education due to behavioural problems arising from breakdown in relationships and home life. These situations are arising more frequently for boys and girls due to high levels of exposure to social media, mental health issues, and problematic behaviour.

  • Support for Young Managers within the Facilities Management and Footwear Industries

The charity also provides ongoing support to young managers within the facilities management and footwear industries, with an annual award winner gaining a bursary for training and a mentor to support their specific needs.
