My Story
I was extremely lucky this year to gain a club spot for the London Marathon 2026.
For years I’ve loved running and feel comfortable up to a half marathon, however a full marathon is firmly out of my comfort zone. I’ve always said that if I ever got into one of the big marathons, I’d do it for a cause that truly matters—Wales Air Ambulance. A vital service that delivers advanced lifesaving care across Wales, 24/7
About the Charity
The Wales Air Ambulance Charity provides advanced life-saving emergency care for everyone in Wales, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. It is a ‘mobile emergency department’, bringing hospital-level interventions to the scene, from blood transfusions to emergency procedures, that relies entirely on donations to keep the helicopters in the air and rapid response vehicles on the road.
