My Story

The Dancing Eye Syndrome Support Trust

In 2024 my niece Izzy, a 1 year old girl, was taken to hospital showing a range of symptoms that were affecting her physically and emotionally. For months she was hospitalised without any confirmation as to what was causing the issues, and naturally this took its toll on her and her parents. Eventually, thanks to the help of Leeds Children's Hospital and specialist researchers of Dancing Eyes Syndrome, they were able to diagnose Isabelle and provide the support needed to help her live a healthy life.

The Dancing Eye Syndrome Support Trust is a charity that provides support and information to families that suffer from DES and has been a big support for our family and other families who have been through similar situations. Any contributions towards the charity that helps then to continue to do the good work would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.
