My Story

Running the London Marathon 2026 is a huge personal goal for me. I first ran the marathon 25 years ago and as my finishers t-shirt said, ‘26.2 miles - never again. Until next time’. I’m determined and dedicated to put in all those hours of training, early mornings, long weekend runs and commitment to run this truly incredible event again.

I’ve chosen to support the NSPCC because I believe in the incredible work they do. I’m so proud to be running with a charity place for this organisation that works tirelessly to protect children and give them the safe, happy childhood every child deserves.
The NSPCC do pivotal work supporting children across the UK, keeping children safe and happy, especially when faced with challenging circumstances. It is the UK's leading charity working to prevent child abuse, support children and families and rebuild young lives through services like Childline, school programme (Speak out Stay safe), helplines for adults, therapeutic support, and campaigning for better child protection laws.
Every mile I run is motivated by the belief that children should be listened to, supported, and kept safe, no matter their circumstances. By supporting my run, you’re helping the NSPCC continue their vital work for children and families across the UK. Any donation, big or small, will make a real difference and help turn this challenge into something incredibly meaningful. Thank you for being part of the journey. It’s a huge challenge but exciting too! 💛

My page donations will be sent direct to the NSPCC in a fast and secure way. Its efficient, saves time and cuts costs for the charity.
