My Story

Hi everyone! I am so pleased to announce that I am running the 2026 London marathon for Sarcoma Uk in honour of the late Charlie Hunt. Every day, 15 people are diagnosed with sarcoma in the UK. That’s about 5,300 people a year. It is a terrible cancer that must be cured. With your help, myself and a group of fantastic individuals want to make a difference. Unfortunately, Sarcoma took Charlies life away in August of 2023 after a tough 3 year battle at the age of 53. He was a dear friend of my parents with my Dad and Charlie both attending University in Bristol together, a frienship that lasted over 30 years! A tireless fundaraiser and a selfless individual whos legacy will forever be honoured and continued. Despite being in and out of hosptial on a regular basis, he never let it get the better of him with running the London marathon in 2022 raising £22,000. I am very honoured to represent a small part in a big movement that will continue to fund the amazing work Sarcoma UK are doing to eradicate this diesease and I urge you to help as well! Lets make Charlie proud!
