My Story

In the past few years, I’ve found strength not in my own footsteps, but in the courage of those around me - people who have faced the unimaginable with grace, resilience and hope. I’ve watched people I love face battles they never chose and in their courage, I’ve found my own.

I’m running the London Marathon 2026 for them.

For my grandparents, who lived with dementia and alzheimer’s.

For my gran, whose warmth and courage never faded, even while living with parkinson's.

For my best friend Bec, diagnosed with multiple sclerosis last year, who continues to show what resilience truly means.

For my friend and colleague Stephen, whose strength and bravery in his battle against illness showed everyone what true resilience looks like.

And for my sister Naomi, whose tireless work as a specialist occupational therapist helps people rebuild their lives after suffering a stroke.

Each of them has shown me what it means to endure, to adapt and to keep moving forward even when the road ahead feels impossible. This marathon is for them. This run isn’t just about distance - it’s about gratitude. It’s about honouring the people who’ve shown me that even in the face of loss and uncertainty, there is always hope, always courage and always a reason to keep going.

I’m proud to be supporting the Brain & Spine Foundation, a charity that provides vital information, research, and support for people and families affected by neurological conditions. Their work fills a huge gap in care for an area that remains, in their words, “woefully under-resourced in this key area of public health.”

If you’re able to support my fundraising, I’d be eternally grateful - every donation helps ensure that no one faces a neurological condition alone. 💙
