My Story

About Us

Hi, we’re Isha and Amani - two sisters from South West London who have set ourselves the challenge of a lifetime: running the London Marathon in April 2026!

This isn’t our first time pushing ourselves: back in 2021, we walked over 100km from Richmond to Brighton as part of the London 2 Brighton Challenge, raising over £1,200 for the British Heart Foundation.

This time, we’ve chosen to raise money for St John Ambulance (SJA): an incredible charity whose volunteers are always there when they’re needed most, but whose importance is often overlooked. SJA trains thousands of people in lifesaving first aid and provides emergency care at events and in communities across the UK. We’ve seen first-hand how important those first moments can be in an emergency, and we believe everyone should have the chance to learn lifesaving skills. That’s why supporting SJA feels so meaningful to us: they give people the knowledge, confidence and skills to act when it matters most.

We won’t pretend this will be easy. We’re not huge fans of running - the most challenging thing we’ve ever done before was the 100km walk for London 2 Brighton, and never a marathon, let alone the prestigious London Marathon! 26.2 miles is going to be a huge test for us, physically and mentally, but we’re determined to give it everything.

We’d love for you to support us along the way.
