My Story

In my 40th year there were a few things I wanted to tick off my bucket list. One of these was to run a marathon and after applying and being unsuccessful over the last few years I was lucky enough to get a place via a ballot through the London Fire Brigade.

Training has started, running at least 3 times a week including gym sessions at work until up to the 26th April Race Day.

While I would like to raise money for many charities that have helped members of my family in the past I have chosen to raise money for the Firefighters charity who continue to do a great job around the country taking care of serving, retired and family members of Firefighters.
