My Story

Here I am inspired by Kerion Gough, who has completed the last 4 London Marathons for Children with Cancer UK, raising an amazing £25,000 to date. Thanks to fundraising like his - and support from people like you - childhood cancer survial rates have climbed from 67.3% in 1990 to 85.2% in 2018 and that kind of impact is all the motivation I need.

I once ran the Newport Half Marathon and decided that was quite enough running for one lifetime - my legs agreed.....but here I am about to take on the London Marathon. Why? because some challenges in life are bigger than yourself, and running for children with cancer is one of them. These kids show more bravery in a day than I could in 26 miles, so the least I can do is put my trainers on and do my best for these amazing children.

My goal is to raise £2,250 to help make the charity's vision a reality - a world where every child and young person survives cancer. I know Marathon day will be tough but I know i'll give it my best, every step, every mile, every ache will be worth it knowing that myself and many other people raising money for Children with Cancer are doing something amazing to help these Children get the future they deserve.

If you can, please donate - big or small it doesn't matter every single penny makes a huge difference

Thank you so much for your support, and i can't wait to make both you and this incredible charity proud.
