My Story

In April 2026, I’ll be taking on the incredible challenge of the London Marathon — not just for the experience, but to raise vital funds for the Blue Light Card Foundation, a cause that me, my family, and friends proudly represent.

I have worked for Border Force since 2017, a law enforcement agency that is not always recognised as a blue light department, but one that plays a vital role in protecting our borders and keeping the country safe.

The Foundation supports those in the UK’s emergency services, such as the Police, NHS, Border Force, and armed forces — individuals who dedicate their lives to protecting and caring for others. Many of us in my circle have lived and worked within these services, and we understand the demands, sacrifices, and resilience it takes to serve on the front line.

Through grants, mental health support, and wellbeing initiatives, the Blue Light Card Foundation gives back to the people who are always there for us. By running in support of this charity, I’m hoping to raise awareness and funds that directly benefit the individuals and families behind the uniform.

Training for a marathon is tough, but knowing I’m running for a cause that reflects the values and lives of those closest to me makes every step worth it. Every donation — no matter the size — will go toward supporting our emergency and frontline workers when they need it most.

Please consider supporting my journey and helping me reach my fundraising goal. Together, we can show our appreciation for the people who give so much.
