TCS 2026 London Marathon - James
James Johnson
My Story
I’ve signed up to run the 2026 London Marathon… which still feels like a slightly ridiculous idea.
I’m doing it for Young Lives vs Cancer, a charity that supports children and young people going through cancer, and their families. It’s one of those causes that’s hard to even think about properly—because no child should have to go through something like that.
The truth is, I’m under no illusion that 26.2 miles is going to be easy. There will definitely be moments where I question why I signed up for this. But those moments are nothing compared to what these kids and their families deal with every single day.
That’s why I’m doing it.
If you can spare anything at all—honestly, even a few pounds—it really does make a difference. And if nothing else, your donation will help drag me round the course when I start to regret all my life choices somewhere after mile 20.
Thank you so much for your support ❤️
