My Story

šŸƒā€ā™‚ļøThis year, I’m lacing up my running shoes not once, but twice!

I am running London Marathon 2026, just one week after the Manchester Marathon 2026, for my Dad, and for Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust (ACT).

Dad was diagnosed with cancer in 2024. It was a tough time for our family, but thanks to the outstanding care he received at Addenbrooke’s, he’s now cancer free!

🄼 We’re incredibly grateful to the doctors, nurses, support staff and volunteers who looked after him. Their professionalism, expertise, and kindness made all the difference - not just to him, but to all of us.

We know first-hand the important role that Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust plays to support innovation in patient care. ACT raised Ā£1.5 million for a new surgical robot for Addenbrooke's Hospital, which ultimately saved Dad’s life - along with the brilliant work of Mr. Pal and his team.

To say thank you, I’m running two marathons to raise money for Addenbrooke’s🩺 Every donation, big or small, helps provide advanced equipment, support groundbreaking research, and ensure that every patient gets the care they deserve.
