My Story

I am excited to announce that I am running my first ever marathon for ORT UK (London 2026)!

ORT UK empowers the next generation to reach their goals through mentoring, employability skills training and work experience opportunities.

For over 140 years, ORT has been educating people in the skills they need to gain employment and support themselves, their families and their communities, breaking the cycle of poverty and charitable dependence. At the present time, ORT reaches over 350,000 people in more than 40 countries across the globe.

During my school days I was given the opportunity to be given work experience by an ORT Jump mentor. I gained invaluable experience in property development and was also fortunate enough to be taken on site to my mentor's upcoming project in Birmingham. My dad is now a mentor for ORT Jump and it is always great to hear about the students who are interested in his field of work. 

This is my first ever marathon which will comprise of 21 weeks of training. You can track my progress on Strava @JamieEpstein
