My Story

I'm taking on the 2026 TCS London Marathon, the largest annual fundraising event on the planet to support Team Hft.

Hft’s vision is to create a future where learning disabled people can live the best life possible, in a kind and inclusive community.

Their mission is to deliver this future by… Providing personalised support. Creating solutions for living independently. Coming together to campaign for positive change. Fundraising for new opportunities and a bigger impact.

My brother Robbie (who many of you know) has been supported by HFT for many years now and I am excited for this opportunity to give just a little bit back.

With HFT's support, Robbie has been able to lead a fulfilling independent life, something that we thought may never be possible.  The relationships that Robbie has with his care team, his peers and in his community highlight HFT's commitment to their vision for learning disabled adults to be able to live their best lives in a kind and inclusive community.

Robbie is proud and excited that I am taking on this challenge!  I am also excited, if not a little anxious, as it has been my dream to run London Marathon for many years.  Now I have a real reason to do this, for Robbie and for HFT.

I welcome any support financial or otherwise, I understand times are not easy and place no expectations on anyone at all.  Kind words of support will go just as far as a few ££.  I will be doing some fundraising events between now and April, but I just wanted to get this page set up and active and to shout about the fact that I am running the LONDON MARATHON!!!
