My Story

I'm running the London Marathon 2026 as part of Team Starlight!

I’ve run marathons before (NYC, Tokyo, San Francisco, Stockholm and Manchester) but that was 10 years ago... I’m now older, wiser, and certainly is less great shape…

Nonetheless, I’m running the London Marathon on April 26! 😬 🏃 and raising vital money for the amazing Starlight Children’s Foundation.

As an old quotes goes, children are ~30% of the population...but they're 100% of the future so let's invest in them.

The healing power of play

Starlight is the UK’s leading charity for children’s play in hospitals and hospices. We work to ensure every child can experience the power of play, supporting their mental and physical health during treatment and recovery from illness.

-        *** They make play possible – providing resources that frontline healthcare professionals use to support children.

-        *** They make play better – supporting healthcare professionals with training and education.

-        *** They make play matter – influencing and campaigning for change to embed play in health services across the country.
