My Story

I'm taking part in the 2026 TCS London Marathon in support of the charity Parents And Children Together (PACT).

This will be my fourth marathon but my first in a number of years, but what better way to celebrate my 40th year than to raise much needed money for a vital cause.

My most rewarding role at work is being the designated safeguarding lead, making sure that we offer a safe and secure environment for the children at our school. Unfortunately for some children, home life can be very difficult and that's how I discovered PACT, and their brilliant "Bounce Back for Kids" service, through which they offer therapeutic support for children and families affected by domestic abuse. Seeing the impact this has on families in my school spurred me on to put my running shoes on and gather sponsorship to support this vital cause.

Any support you can offer me will certainly help me as I start to clock up the miles... and eventually as I cross the start line at the London Marathon 2026. I can't wait for the challenge!
