My Story

Dementia is now the leading cause of death in the UK. Every three minutes, someone develops this devastating and complex condition. Right now, over 900,000 people across the UK are living with dementia, and that number is rising. There is no cure.

But there is support. Sage House is a lifeline for people facing dementia, not just for those diagnosed, but for their families too. They reduce isolation, provide expert care, advice, emotional support, and bring hope when it’s needed most.

My own journey with dementia is deeply personal.
My nan has been living with dementia for several years and is currently in a care home in Kent. Earlier this year, we sadly lost my wife’s gran, who had been lovingly supported by Sage House throughout her journey with dementia. This condition affects everyone differently — from those living with it to the loved ones supporting them every single day.

I’m just one person with a story. But there are thousands more.

Sage House is a vital part of our community — and it needs your support.

Please consider donating today to help more families get the care, compassion, and support they so urgently need.
