My Story
This year, I’m taking on the London Marathon for Breast Cancer Now, a cause that is incredibly close to my heart.
Breast cancer has touched my family in more ways than one. My mum was diagnosed with breast cancer and, thanks to research, treatment, and support, she has recovered and is here today. Sadly, we lost my grandma to breast cancer, a loss that still shapes our family and reminds us why this fight matters so much.
To honour my mum’s journey, our family all have matching smiley face tattoos, inspired by the radiology markings from her treatment. It’s a small but meaningful reminder of resilience, love, and hope, and a symbol of everything we’ve been through together.
The research funded by Breast Cancer Now is the reason my mum is still here today, and it’s the reason so many families continue to have hope. By supporting this charity, you’re helping fund world-class research and provide life-changing support for anyone affected by breast cancer, today, and for the future.
Running this marathon is my way of giving back, remembering those we’ve lost, and helping ensure that more families get the outcomes we were lucky enough to have. Thank you so much for supporting me, and for supporting Breast Cancer Now, it truly means more than I can put into words.
