My Story

From Couch to Cure – My London Marathon 2026 Journey

Hi, I'm Josh 👋

In April 2026, I will run my first ever marathon – the London Marathon – for Anthony Nolan, a charity that gives people with blood cancer and blood disorders a second chance at life.

For me, this is personal!

In 1996, aged just 6 months old, I was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia. My only hope was a bone marrow transplant, and thanks to a matching donor found through Anthony Nolan’s work, I survived.

2026 will mark 30 years since my transplant – and I want to celebrate that milestone by giving back, raising vital funds so others can have the same chance I did.

I’m starting this journey from scratch – no running background, just determination, gratitude, and the belief that every step can make a difference.

Every donation will help Anthony Nolan recruit more donors, carry out ground-breaking research, and save more lives.

If you can, please support my journey. Whether it’s £5, £50, or just sharing this page, you’ll be part of something life-changing.

Thank you 🖤

Josh
