About us

Josh Kaplan – Running for The Malki Foundation

Running has taught me some of the most important lessons in life. The road rewards hard work, perseverance, and the ability to keep pushing forward even when things get tough. Every kilometre is a reminder that progress comes from consistency, not comfort. These principles- discipline, resilience, and growth - are values I hold deeply, not only in running but in everything I do.

But what truly gives running its meaning is community. The encouragement from friends, family, and fellow runners transforms what could be a solitary pursuit into something powerful and shared. It’s this spirit of unity and support that inspired me to dedicate my TCS London Marathon to the Malki Foundation.

The Malki Foundation is devoted to empowering families in Israel who care for children with severe disabilities. Through their programs, they provide these families with vital therapies, equipment, and professional assistance-helping them keep their children at home in loving environments rather than in institutional care. Their mission is rooted in compassion, dignity, and the belief that every child deserves the chance to reach their potential.

This cause resonates deeply with me. Just as running reminds us that every step counts, the Malki Foundation reminds us that every act of kindness, every show of support, and every small effort can change a life. Running the London Marathon for them isn’t just about crossing a finish line. It’s about carrying their message forward- with every stride, every breath, and every ounce of strength- to help children and families move toward brighter, fuller lives.

Together, we can turn endurance into impact. Thank you for supporting me and the Malki Foundation on this meaningful journey.
