My Story

About Love4Life and myself...

I said to myself that I would never run anything significant ever again after the 2021 marathon nearly killed me off - but here we are. A runner without any 'running bug' or enjoyment from it whatsoever.

So why do it?

Earlier this year we discovered Love4Life for our brilliant Uncle. I have personally seen the amazing support and engagements they offer and how they have the potential to completely change someone's life.

Love4Life is a friendship and dating network for autistic adults and adults with a learning disability. Focusing on building friendships, discovering dating, and creating connections in a relaxed, safe, and supportive environment.

They organise a wide range of social events, life-skill workshops and one-to-one support.

The mission is to create a world where autistic people and people with a learning disability have equal opportunities to build meaningful relationships, develop independence, and live life to the fullest.
