My Story

I am running the 2026 London Marathon in aid of St Helena Hospice.

In 2020, during one of the lockdowns, my dad was diagnosed with a tumour and we were told he had just a few months to live. Covid added extra complications to a really horrible time and meant that we couldn't spend the last few weeks making those special memories in the same way.

Dad ended up being admitted to St Helena Hospice's Inpatient Unit on Christmas Day and died between Christmas and New Year. Nothing was too much trouble for the team there and we're forever grateful for their care.

I've never run more than 10k but want to dig deep for a special cause. Any support you can offer would be greatly appreciated and spur me on! Thank you!
