My Story

Having completed a number of half marathons over the last few years I wanted to challenge myself to a full marathon and would love to raise some money for a charity close to my heart whilst completing it.

Contact is a charity who support families with disabled children all across the UK with vital information, advise and support. I have had the pleasure of teaching many children with disabilities and I know first-hand the difficulty and heart ache of having a disabled child but also the love, joy and special moments it brings too. Isaac was diagnosed with left sided Hemiplegia at 11 months old and has overcome a multitude of hurdles and struggles to get where he is today – he never lets his disability hold him back and I am so proud of how far he has come, and he inspires me to challenge myself and support others.
