My Story

“No one in the world needs a Rhino horn but a Rhino.” - Paul Oxton 🦏

Never in my entire life did I want - or even think - to run a marathon.

42 kilometres alone with your thoughts? In my opinion, that sounds absolutely terrifying… but here we are!

Next year, I’m taking on the London Marathon - a huge personal challenge and one that’s definitely outside my comfort zone. While I’ve always loved staying active, I’ve found running to be more of a mental hurdle than anything else.

But I’m doing it for a cause that means the world to me: Save the Rhino, a charity very close to my heart.

I always support conservation through my work, but this time I have decided to go one step further and push myself to run for conservation too.

Mother Teresa said “We ourselves feel that what we are doing is just a drop in the ocean. But the ocean would be less because of that missing drop.”

That’s how I view this journey. Every step, every conversation, every donation we make - it’s a drop. But it’s a meaningful one. 🦏 🌍
