London marathon... take 2!
My first ever marathon was London 2019. It was an absolute disaster. I undertrained. I was injured. I did not enjoy it at all and cried most of the way round. I did finish though in 6:13:02.
I have since ran 29 marathons (with a new PB of 04:07, 3 x 50k and a 100k ultra and feel that I need to go back to London to put those demons to rest!
Contact have very kindly given me a charity place to do so š„°
As part of my journey to London 2026 I am also taking on Race to the Stones this July ... 100km along the Ridgeway non-stop (my craziest ever challenge!)
***RTTS COMPLETE!***
The heat was horrific. Rach had to stop after 50k with awful blisters due to the weather. I decided to try to finish... and finish I did. It was a massive mental challenge at times. My feet are destroyed and I am exhausted but what an achievement!
