My Story
My story
This April, I will be running the London Marathon in support of Blind Veterans UK, a charity that provides vital support to veterans who have lost their sight, helping them rebuild their independence, confidence, and quality of life.
I chose to run for Blind Veterans UK because of the life-changing impact their work has on those who have already given so much in service to others.
Taking on the London Marathon is both a personal challenge and an opportunity to raise awareness and funds for this exceptional cause.
I’m aiming to reach my fundraising target, and I’d be hugely grateful if you’d consider donating whatever you can. Truly, every contribution makes a difference, no matter the size.
Blind Veterans UK is the national charity for vision-impaired ex-Service men and women.
We help veterans learn vital life skills and give them the tools they need to discover a life after sight loss. We do this by giving veterans the rehabilitation, training, practical advice and emotional support they need to live independent lives.
Blind Veterans UK supports thousands of blind veterans across the country, but we know there are thousands more who still need our support to rebuild their lives after sight loss.
