My Story

Over the past three months, I’ve stepped completely outside of my comfort zone. I’ve taken up jogging, joined 180 run club to push myself further than I thought possible, and signed up for not one — but two huge challenges.

In the space of just one month, I will be running TWO marathons to raise money for a special cause.

On 22nd March, I’ll be taking on Rome Marathon as preparation for the London Marathon on 26th April. To secure my place at the London Marathon, I need to raise £2,500 — and every single donation will mean the world.

Running 26 miles is not for the faint-hearted. The training has been brutal, physically exhausting, and mentally challenging. There have been early mornings, sore legs, moments of doubt, and times I’ve questioned whether I could really do this. But I keep reminding myself why I started.

I’m running the London Marathon in memory of my stepdad, Steve. The shock of losing Steve is something my family and I will never truly get over. His loss has left a space that can never be filled. By pushing myself to take on something this demanding, I hope to honour him and raise awareness of how serious and devastating lung conditions can be.

This is more than just a race. It’s for Steve. It’s for awareness. And it’s for making something positive out of heartbreak.

Thank you for your support — it truly means everything. 🖤

Every minute, someone in the UK is diagnosed with a lung condition. I want to make a difference. I'm running the London Marathon 2026 for Asthma + Lung UK, the only UK charity that fights for everyone’s right to breathe. Every pound I'm able to raise will take us a step closer to a world where everyone has healthy lungs

Just £22 allows one of Asthma + Lung UK's nurses to answer a call on the Helpline, offering potentially lifesaving advice. I'd be very grateful for any donations you could make!
