My Story
Today, 34 people will hear the devastating words 'You have a brain tumour'. And in that moment their world stops.
In September 2023 it was my Dad, Andrew Smith, who was diagnosed with a Stage 4 Glioblastoma.
He underwent brain surgery, aggressive radiotherapy, multiple rounds of chemotherapy and more.
21 months after his diagnosis in June 2025 my dad passed away and my heart aches for him every day.
I was originally due to run the 2024 London marathon, but had to defer my place as I was pregnant. My son Milo arrived 2 weeks before the event, and I'll always be grateful that my Dad got to meet him.
In 2026 I'm running the TCS London Marathon to pick up the pace of research and improve the lives of everyone affected by brain tumours.
With your support, we can change lives.
