My Story

In April 2026, I’ll be taking on the London Marathon to raise money for Maggie’s – a charity that has become incredibly close to my heart.

When my dad was diagnosed with cancer, everything changed. It was a scary and uncertain time, but Maggie’s was there for us. Their centre became a calm, welcoming space where we could catch our breath. The volunteers didn’t just support my dad – they supported all of us. Whether it was chatting about anything and everything, offering a quiet corner to read, or simply making sure we had a warm cup of tea, they made a huge difference in our lives.

During my dad’s surgery, we spent hours at Maggie’s – surrounded by kindness, comfort, and genuine care. It was more than just a building; it was a lifeline. And now, I want to give something back.

I’ll be doing lots of fundraising between now and marathon day, and you can keep up to date with it all on Instagram: @runningformaggies. Whether it’s bake sales, training milestones, or other challenges, every bit helps.

Please consider donating – no amount is too small. Every penny will go towards helping families like mine navigate one of the hardest times of their lives.

Thank you so much for your support 🧡
