My Story

Thank you for visiting my sponsorship page.

This year i will be turning the big 50 and wanted to do something special to celebrate it (and also a reason to get fit again !!) I did my first ever marathon in 2008 (London) again for this amazing charity.

Back in December 2005 we sadly lost our little girl Phoebe-Lee, due to her being born to soon. On the back of what was truly the worst time in my life I reached out and found Action Medical Research. The charity have helped me so much over the years and I have continued to work and fund raise for them ever since, This year Phoebe would also have been 20, so with two big milestones I wanted to do it again and run the big one ... London !! I've also ran to date 29 marathons (last one was 2018) so with some form of OCD I wanted to round it up to 30 🤣 .... so if you can help a middle aged slightly chubby and unfit guy get fit again and raise some vital funds for an amazing cause then please please help no matter how big or small all will be greatly appreciated.
