London Marathon Squad for Breast Cancer Now
My Story
We're Running the London Marathon for Breast Cancer Now!
On Sunday, April 27th, our team—Clare, James, Niamh, and Mike—will be running the iconic London Marathon to raise vital funds for Breast Cancer Now. In addition to this, Elin will be running the Mini Marathon on Saturday 25th April.
Our Motivation
This cause is deeply personal to all of us. Each of us has our own story and experience with breast cancer, whether it's having faced the illness ourselves or stood by and supported loved ones through their journey. We know firsthand the immense physical and emotional toll it takes.
Clare ran the marathon two years ago alongside her dear friend Tracey and her brother Mike, and this year we're thrilled that James and Niamh have taken up the mantel. Together, we feel a profound sense of duty to keep this fundraising momentum going.
Why Breast Cancer Now?
Breast Cancer Now is an absolutely amazing charity. The support they provide to those going through incredibly tough times is invaluable, and the unbelievable research they fund continues to improve the life chances of everyone affected by breast cancer. They are working towards a future where everyone who develops breast cancer lives, and lives well.
Help Us Make a Difference
Training for and completing the London Marathon is a huge challenge, but it's nothing compared to the challenges faced by those living with breast cancer. We are all incredibly excited (and a little nervous!) to take on the 26.2 miles. Elin has become the fifth member of our team and is delighted to be doing her bit to raise money for this charity as part of our team.
Every single pound you donate will help Breast Cancer Now continue their incredible work, funding life-changing research and providing crucial support.
Please donate whatever you can. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for supporting us and this life-saving cause.
