My Story
In 2026 I will be taking on the incredible challenge of running the London Marathon to raise money for Long Covid support, something incredibly close to my heart. On January 16th 2021 I lost the most amazing mum to Covid. She was unbelievably brave and fought with everything she had right until the very end. Not a day goes by that I donāt miss her deeply, and I hope more than anything to make her proud. I find it so hard to process how quickly Covid faded from peopleās minds after everything the world went through. For something that completely changed our lives, taking millions of lives, isolating families and upending normal life, it almost feels like it just disappeared without any real sense of closure or remembrance. One moment it was dominating every headline and conversation, and the next it was like it never happened. I truly believe thereās still not enough research or awareness around the long term effects of Covid, despite how profoundly it has impacted so many lives. Every step I take will be for them and every donation will make a real difference in improving lives and raising awareness. Iām incredibly grateful for every single donation, no matter the amount, and for anyone who shares my fundraising journey, your support truly means the world to me and those affected by covid. This one is for you mother, my first, my last, my everything x
