My Story

I’m running the marathon to raise money for the South Central Ambulance Service Charity because I truly believe in the work it does, both for the public and for the people who deliver care every day. As a Specialist Practitioner with SCAS, I see the impact this charity has, not just in emergencies, but in the lasting support it provides across our communities. From funding life-saving equipment like community defibrillators, to supporting education and training, to looking after the wellbeing of our staff and volunteers, the charity plays a vital role in helping us give the best care possible.

This run is, of course, a huge personal challenge — but it’s not about me. It’s about giving something back to a cause that quietly and consistently makes a real difference to people’s lives. I feel proud to be part of SCAS and even prouder to be running in support of a charity that helps us care, connect and improve lives far beyond what’s seen in the headlines.

All donations can come with a single song choice to add to my playlist, from baby shark to daft punk, normal song choices only, no autobiographies or 27 minute introductions to how to change your hoover bag
