My Story
I'm running the London Marathon to help restore sight.
The Ridley Eye Foundation provides free SICS to people in remote high-altitude communities of Nepal. It enables local partners to provide treatment, free to the patient, in hard-to-reach communities. To do this they channel funds through REF (Nepal) to NNJS and partner hospitals to pay for the transportation and operation of equipment and surgical teams to set up ‘eye camps’. These are remote temporary clinics to deliver cataract surgery at the point of need.
In 2025, The Ridley Eye Foundation enabled 15 eye camps, triaged 7,771 people, and performed 967 cataract operations to restore sight. Please help them carry on this work if you can!
