My Story

In April I will be running the London 2026 Marathon as well as the Landmarks Half Marathon, I am honoured to run on behalf of The Love Like Luke Memorial Foundation.

The Foundation was created to honor the life and legacy of Luke Joshua Gibson, who tragically lost his life on February 12, 2025, in a motorcycle accident at just 19 years old. Luke was a young man with a huge heart who never met a stranger. He went out of his way to make sure everyone around him felt seen, heard, and loved.

Through the foundation, they will ensure that love keeps moving outward, creating ripples of compassion, leadership, and hope far beyond what he ever could have imagined. One life lived with love can inspire countless others.

His parents and three brothers created the foundation to continue the love and light that Luke shared so freely — and to support the causes and communities that meant the most to him.

As someone who has experienced the love and kindness this family shares with everyone, running the marathon is a small way of helping them do something extraordinary through unimaginable pain. 

To give you an understanding of the task ahead, I do not run and have not for 17 years. My marathon training has started, so I ask for your generosity for this incredible foundation.
