My Story

In 2026 I'll be running The London Marathon for Dementia UK!

After a few years of watching my friends take on their fair share of marathons, I've decided to give it a go next...

I'll be running for Dementia UK, a charity very close to mine and my familys hearts, and in memory of my nan, Wendy and my granddad, John. I've seen first hand the cruel affect that dementia and alzheimers can have on a family, so I'd be really grateful for any donations to support such a great cause!

Dementia UK is a charity that supports families affected by dementia by providing specialist dementia nurses called Admiral Nurses to offer advice, emotional support, and practical help. They operate through a free Helpline, face-to-face and virtual clinics, and in various community settings to help families navigate the complexities of dementia, cope with the diagnosis, and ensure the best possible quality of life. The charity also campaigns for better awareness, policy, and care systems for people with dementia and their loved ones.
