My Story

Music was undeniably a huge part of my upbringing and continues to be part of my daily life. Thanks to my incredible music teachers, I grew up having more self confidence, assurance in my abilities and multiple opportunities to express myself. I was incredibly lucky to have all the opportunities I had and it would be my dream for everyone to have the same chance.

Any deficiency or impairment in one hand or arm makes traditional instruments unplayable to any reasonable standard. As a result, millions across the world are excluded from music-making for the lack of suitable instruments. OHMI’s objective is to remove the barriers to music-making so as to enable full and undifferentiated participation in musical life.

Supporting charities like the OHMI Trust improves the chance of all children and adults to have access to music-making, despite factors out of their control such as physical disabilities. I believe that accessibility for all in music is more important than ever before. Any donation, no matter how big or small, will make a positive impact on someone’s life and wellness. Thank you.
