My Story
Excited and terrified in equal measure to say I will be running London Marathon 2026 !!
I'm incredibly proud (and only slightly alarmed) to be doing this for my wonderful team at the Invictus Games Foundation, raising funds so we can continue to support those who have given so much in the service of their country.
Having worked at the Foundation for nearly two years, I've been lucky enough to see first-hand the power of sport to change lives and save lives of Wounded, Injured, and Sick (WIS) service personnel and veterans.
At the IGF, we support WIS individuals through access to adaptive sports, esports and adventurous challenge, helping them find purpose, confidence, and a sense of belonging on their recovery journey. The Invictus Games epitomises this, but we do so much Beyond the Games, every single day, all around the world.
For those who know me, this challenge probably won’t come as a huge surprise. I’m very much an 'all in' kind of person, so naturally a 26.2 mile runaround felt like a sensible decision - especially when it’s in support of an organisation I feel so privileged to be a part of.
Thank you so much for donating and supporting the work of the Invictus Games Foundation.
