My Story
I am a St Albans based runner and London 2026 will be my first attempt at the Marathon Distance.
I'm raising money for Abbey View Community Athletics Track (AVCAT, charity number 1207500) which is a charity which took over the management of the running track in St Albans from 1 April 2024 to ensure the long term future of athletics in St Albans and ongoing accessibility of the track to running clubs, schools and disability sports.
As a runner (sometimes athlete) and parent, I've made extensive use of the track during AVCAT's period of management of the track to date including St Albans Striders and St Albans Athletics Club sessions as well as Open Public Sessions and Track Meetings (Southern Athletics League).
I really appreciate the work that AVCAT are doing and I'm grateful of the opportunity to contribute by running London 2026 to raise funds for this worthy cause.
