My Story

Why I'm runningfor FLEET

A local charity that has been fundraising for many years has raised money for local emergency care based initiatives ranging far and wide, of which I have directly been involved with and seen the benefits of.

Early in my career as a Paramedic I was supported by FLEET to participate on a Prehospital Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) course, focused on the management of trauma patients, directly improving my knowledge and skills.

An early adopter in the support of community defibrillators, they pionneered the way locally for the installation of many of these in our communities.  I have first had seen the lives that have been saved by these devices.
