My Story

About us

Our son Tommy was born prematurely in July 2022. He suffered a catastrophic brain bleed when he was only a few days old he was then diagnosed with Hydrocephalus a condition we had previously never heard of.

Tommy had his first operation at just under 2 weeks old. His Hydrocephalus required regular head measurements and close monitoring.

He suffered alot of complications requiring multiple operations and many hospital stays.

Sadly Tommy suffered an unexpected seizure and passed away in August 2023 aged 13 months.

Harry's Hat provided life changing support to our family during Tommy's short life.

I will be running the London Marathon in April 2026 to raise awareness of Hydrocephalus and support the incredible charity that helped us and the other families living with Hydrocephalus.
