My Story
I’m proud to be running the London Marathon in support of The Lauren Page Trust, a charity that helps women facing serious complications during pregnancy and premature babies who need specialist care from the very start of their lives.
The charity was founded in memory of Lauren Page. Born at just 27 weeks in October 1998 after a very difficult pregnancy, Lauren fought bravely through weeks of intensive neonatal care and many complications. Against the odds she was eventually able to go home, but tragically passed away at just 19 weeks old in March 1999.
Her strength and the care she received inspired her parents, Nick and Claire, along with friends and family, to create The Lauren Page Trust so that other mothers and babies facing similar challenges could receive the specialist support they need.
Funds raised support specialist doctors at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, vital medical research, and essential neonatal equipment.
By sponsoring my run, you’ll be helping provide life-saving care and support to families during their most vulnerable moments.
Thank you so much for your support and donations!!
