My Story

On 26 April 2026 I'll be running the TCS London Marathon for the first time, and I'm raising money for North Devon Hospice as I take on this bucket list challenge.

Last year, thanks to your incredible generosity, I raised £750 for the hospice by completing the gruelling North Devon Marathon. When the opportunity to run one of the worlds biggest marathons came, I knew I wanted to raise money for such a worthy cause once again. 

The hospice does incredible work for local families during the toughest of times. They provide compassionate, hands-on care for people facing a life-limiting illness, and just as crucially, they wrap their support around the entire family. They help ensure that a person's life story is honoured, and that the ending matters—filled with dignity, comfort, and precious moments.

So, not only will I be looking to smash my personal best at London, I'll also be looking to smash my previous fundraising total. Every single pound raised goes directly to funding their outstanding care, which is provided completely free of charge.
