My Story

I am running the London Marathon this April with my aunt Sydney in support of the housing and homelessness charity Shelter tackling a national emergency, with millions without a safe place to call home. In London and elsewhere in the UK, the housing crisis is one that is palpable as people face growing cost-of-living pressures and uncertainty.

In addition to our support for Shelter, we are importantly running this marathon in honour of my late brother and Sydney's nephew, Calvin, who died far too soon a year ago. He was a brilliant, humourous and rabble-rousing figure whose memory Sydney and I would like to highlight as the formidable #TeamCalvin.

I'll be training lots with Sydney these next few months (catch us in Victoria Park on Sundays) and I don't anticipate both our first marathon to be a cake walk. But it's that time of my life in my mid-twenties when I feel I can do some good, with YOUR help, for my body and mind, for those disadvantaged in the UK, and for the memory of my dear late Brother.

To all friends, family and beyond, it would be so appreciated to help me reach this fundraising goal. I'll keep you updated and my and Sydney's progress as we approach the marathon, and very much thank you in advance for any kind donations.
