My Story

Our world was torn apart in September 23 when we lost our beloved Neil at aged 52 after such a short illness which ended with the diagnosis of cancer just 2 days before he passed away peacefully surrounded by all the family.

Neil had always supported me with my running and we had often talked about me one day running London Marathon but was never lucky enough to ever secure a place. This time though my twin sister Steph did so I decided I would apply amongst thousands of others to run for Marie Curie and have been fortunate enough to be chosen.

To be able to run together raising monies and giving something back in what will be our 50th year will certainly be very special. This will give us the strength we need to get though the training and I know Neil will be looking down with a smile on his face when we are running through London and crossing that famous finish line.

Over the next 9 months our goal is to raise £5200 (£100 for every year of Neils life) for this fantastic charity in which we will be arranging some events which I hope you will all support us if you can.

Thank you so much for reading and we will keep you posted on our journey.
